Cost per Night

All prices include use of bed linen and showers. A returnable cash deposit of £5 is required for keys. Towel hire £1.

Deposits

A 25% deposit (minimum £20, or payment in full if the total cost is less than £20) is payable at the time of booking by credit or debit card or by cheque (to be received within 7 days of the booking being made). For bank holiday weekends and the period between Christmas and New Year, the balance is payable seven days before arrival, otherwise the balance is payable on arrival.  For exclusive group hire the balance is payable 4 weeks before arrival. If a booking is cancelled and the accomodation can be re-let, only the deposit is forfeited.

No additional charges are made for credit or debit card deposit payments or balance payments before arrival. Balances paid on arrival using a credit card will be subject to a surcharge of approximately 3%. Balances paid on arrival using a debit card will be subject to a surcharge of 50p.

House Requests

Please Note, in order to maintain a family atmosphere and to allow those who want to get a good night's sleep to do so, we request the following:

There is no curfew at the hostel and guests are welcome to return at any time. However we ask that noise is kept to a minimum after midnight and the public rooms must be vacated by 1am.  People who are not staying at the hostel should not be invited into the hostel without our prior agreement.

Please note that smoking is not allowed anywhere inside the house. There is a covered area, with seating, outside.
